Business of Crafts

I highly recommend this course to all my artist friends who are wanting to take their business to the next level. I've been on now for 9 months and have already acquired 35 accounts, the largest being the Made In Oregon chain. Can you believe it? ...Just in the last 2 weeks I've made over $2,000 in sales. This blows my MIND! When I went into the 2011 workshop my only expectation was to learn how to sell my art better in the retail market, but left with a wealth of knowledge, resources and the confidence to dive into the wholesale world, all while shifting focus from my mosaic art to the creation of a more profitable glass jewelry line. I am proud of my progress, dedicated to my work, growing constantly, learning from mistakes, pushing forward, following my heart and having FUN. Much thanks to you for helping me start this journey!

Dear Pam,
Thank you so much for presenting Customer Service and Beyond at the Buyers Market of American Crafts. The attendees gave you very good reviews and many who attended other tables put yours down as one they wish they could have attended. One of my employees attended your table and was very excited about many of the ideas that were discussed. She is going to present many of them to the other employees here. I think that Customer Service is the best thing we have to offer, and a creative approach is always welcome. Thank you.

Again, thanks.

Best regards, Alison Brooks C.R.A.F.T.”

I had a show last weekend and I put the things you had mentioned to use. Bruce Baker's CDs helped a lot too in designing my booth and tips on making a sale. I did better this one weekend than any of the 3-week Puyallup fairs I have done in 4 years.”

“Thank you so much for the tips you gave. It has given me the confidence to try to do more shows.”

~Connie Kelley, Tutibella

“You guys were awesome! There was so much information to learn, and you really packed it in. I came away with all my questions answered, and a more thorough picture of wholesale/retail processes. You should name your class "All you wanted to know about selling your art/craft, but didn't know who to ask". I would do it all again in a heartbeat. It is the most pro-active thing that I've done to grow my business since I started it five years ago. Thank you!”
